US Congressman Darin Lahood, representing the 18th District of Illinois confers a letter of appreciation to The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam, The 1008th living incarnation of Paramashiva as per Hinduism, for His hard work and dedication to the improvement of the community in Illinois.

The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism’s started His Avataric mission in the US in the early 2000 where thousands of KAILASA ecosystems have flourished.

The SPH Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam conducted the first ever Kumbh Mela outside India in Los Angeles, USA on September 2006 in Irvine, California. This first confluence for world peace was to honor the memory of those who lost their lives saving others on September 11, 2001. The second confluence for peace was held in Los Angeles in 2007 in collaboration with other organizations. The Kumbh Mela festival spread fast to other countries including Australia, Canada, etc.

The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam has also delivered a series of discourses for 18 days on Bhagavad Gita in the US which started on September 14, 2005. In March 2006, The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam delivered the Shiva Sutras in Los Angeles, USA. The SPH has delivered many such discourses in the USA attracting people from all walks of life empowering them and raising their consciousness to help build a stronger and more responsible society.

The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam also commenced the first World tour of 2006 in the USA. Devotees from all over North America gathered to witness a series of Abhishekam (sacred baths) and Homa (fire ritual) performed by The SPH Himself on this grand occasion.
