VALLI DEVASENA PRANA PRATISHTA DAY 2 Evening ⚡
YANTRA STAPANAM & ASHTABANDANAM

YANTRA STAPANAM was offered in Kailasa Houston for Sri Valli Devasena as part of the Agama Pratishta Process. Yantras are a sacred, cosmic geometric diagrams, where just by looking, contemplating, our higher energies can be awakened. They are conduits of cosmic energy and during the PRANA PRATISHTA Consecration Process, they are installed under the deity along with Navaratna Jewels.

After the completion of YANTRA STAPANAM, the deities were installed on the peetam. The process was then completed by Shilpis who applied ASHTA BANDANAM (Special herbal paste as prescribed in Agamas for binding the Deity to the Peetham). Ashta bandanam involves a very special herbal paste made out of 8 specific herbs mixed with wood lac, limestone powder, resin, red ochre, beeswax and butter. The paste is formed into long rolls and applied directly around the base of the deity.
